Henry Munk
A native of the Chicago suburbs, Henry is a committed advocate for educational equality and providing greater resources to college access to as many different students as possible. He currently serves as the principal of North Shore Tutoring Company in Highland Park, Illinois, where he provides college counseling along with test prep to a variety of different students in the north shore of Chicago. Prior to that, Henry was a graduate assistant at Swarthmore College’s Office of Student Engagement, where he created the college’s SEPTA lottery pass system and the college’s inaugural programming board. Henry graduated with an M.S.Ed. from the University of Pennsylvania’s Higher Education administration program. Henry holds a B.S. from Vanderbilt University, majoring in Secondary Education and History. After he finished his undergrad, Henry was an AP World History & Algebra I teacher at Freedom Preparatory Academy Charter Schools in Memphis, TN. Having worked in a secondary education setting, Henry is familiar with college application and financial aid mechanisms, and wants to work in an enrollment management capacity, specifically focusing on undergraduate student admissions and college access, so that he can serve an even greater number of high school and college students.
